About Designer Banded Shades From Hunter Douglas
These innovative shades feature alternating sheer fabric with bands of solid fabric, which provides a great solution for view-through, light control, and privacy. This product is extremely flexible, because it can be opened or closed in the raised or lowered position, which is not something many other products can boast. They have a square fabric-wrapped cassette, so they look like a shade with two layers of fabric. They have a fashion-forward bottom rail bar that actually tapers the fabric from the top of the shade to bottom. Plus, the fabric collection for this product includes an array of solids, textures, and beautiful colors. These fabrics come in light-filtering and room-darkening opacities, making them perfect for any room in your home.
Functionality
The shade comes standard with a custom clutch lifting system that provides shade-to-shade lift uniformity. You could also choose UltraGlide®, which features a retractable cord system. The beauty of this lift system is that the cord length never changes—perfect for a nice, clean appearance and cordless safety. Or you could go with the new SoftTouch™ Motorization system, which uses a simple wand to control shade operation. The wand is attached by a strong magnet, making it very safe for children and pets.
